Norleans Japan McIntosh Pear Pattern 10 Piece Grouping 5 Cup and Saucer Sets Hand Painted 1970s Colors. This grouping of 10 pieces of vintage Norleans Japan porcelain dinnerware includes 5 sets of cups and saucers in their McIntosh pattern. Each white cup has features a colorful hand painted pear in shades of yellow and gold with avocado green leaves and black stem beside a small blue flower which has a yellow center surrounded by tiny black dots. Each cup is trimmed with an inside rim border stripe of avocado green. Matching saucers are also white with a center cup well, and feature the same rim border stripe of avocado green, with an added thin band of the darkest gold used on the pears. Wonderful 1970’s colors that are popular again today!
All 10 pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Cups have an angular D-shaped handle.
Cups measure 3-1/4” diameter and are 3” tall; saucers measure 6-1/4” diameter. Price is for 10-piece set.
Backstamp on each cup reads “Norleans Japan” in brown; each saucer has a larger brown backstamp which reads “Norleans Earthen Ware, Japan, McIntosh”.
