Woman's Day Magazine Danny Kaye June 1956. Woman’s Day dated June 1956 featuring a great color cover photo and feature article, “His Excellency, Danny Kaye” which is about “Off stage with Danny the comedian, Danny the father, Danny the ambassador-at-large for the world’s children” by John McNulty. Also included are articles and recipes on barbecue and outdoor cooking plus maternity clothes, new summer styles, and crocheting with jute. Filled with all sorts of late 1950’s advertisements – some in color, some black & white. Fabulous color back cover with a Camel cigarettes ad featuring actor, Phil Silvers as Sgt. Bilko, "TV's Funniest New Comedy!"
Overall condition is good for its age but it’s missing a few pages where the previous owner must have torn them out to save. Covers are showing wear from years of being enjoyed; does have some foxing, a somewhat musty smell and some yellowing of pages. Priced reasonably and a great find for vintage magazine collectors and for those who love Danny Kaye.
Measures 11-3/8” x 8-5/8” and had 120 original pages.
