Sandland Ware Silver Luster Sugar and Creamer Set made by Lancaster & Sandland Ltd, in Hanley Staffordshire, England. Uniquely beautiful, small vintage Open Sugar Bowl and Creamer set made by Lancaster & Sandland Ltd. in Hanley, Staffordshire England sometime between 1944 until 1968.
Set features Silver Luster leave designs on both sides and matching edge trim on creamy white porcelain. Set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, minor crazing; creamer has very minimal scratches on largest leaves. Set displays beautifully!
Creamer measures 2-1/4 inches tall, 3 inches wide and has a 1-5/8 inches diameter opening.
Sugar bowl measures 2 1/8 inches tall, 3 inches wide and a 2-1/2 inches diameter opening.
Marked on bottom in green, “Sandland Ware” above two shaking hands logo, and under it, “Lancaster & Sandland Ltd., Hanley England”. Creamer also has “696” hand painted in silver and imprinted “165”. Sugar bowl has an “M” hand painted in silver (could be artist’s initial) and an illegible imprinted number.
