Ambassador Bridge Windsor Canada Souvenir Vase Hand Painted. Lovely small vintage porcelain souvenir vase from the Ambassador Bridge Windsor Canada features a detailed hand painted scenic view of the bridge and surrounding landscape in shades of blue, green, with accents of tan, rust, and amber. Bridge is finely detailed in black against a beautiful sky. The words “Ambassador bridge Windsor Canada” are hand painted in small black letters over the top of the bridge. Top of vase shows white glazed porcelain lip edged in gold. Bottom of vase is slightly flared to create a base.
The bridge opened November 11, 1929 and would have been a popular tourist attraction when this souvenir vase was probably made.
Vase is in excellent condition with minimal wear to gold trim; no loss of color on hand painting; no chips, cracks, or crazing. Bottom is marked with a red and yellow leaf logo with “Windsor Canada” in black letters on a yellow banner at the bottom of the leaf.
Measures 5 inches tall with a 1-7/8 inches diameter top opening; measures 1-3/4 inches across bottom.
