This double handle, crystal clear glass, oval shaped sugar bowl with domed lid was made by Anchor Hocking Glass in their Waterford Waffle pattern, made between 1938-1944. According to Gene Florence's book, "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass", Fifteenth Edition, page 239, this piece was available with or without a domed lid. This sugar bowl does have a domed lid with a tall octagonal shaped knob. Both sugar bowl and domed lid are in excellent condition except for a tiny flea bite on edge of lid; otherwise no chips, or cracks.
Measures 4 inches tall with lid; is 3-1/2 inches wide and 6-1/8 inches long from handle to handle.
A perfect companion for your matching Waterford Waffle pieces and a beautiful piece of Depression Glass!
