Allertons England Arran Pattern 7-Piece Grouping Blue and White Floral Transferware. This fine antique porcelain is a lovely example of Victorian Transferware made by Allerton's in England and features their pattern "Arran", a blue and white floral and scroll pattern. Markings on back of plates indicate these pieces were made between 1890-1912. This partial set is of one of England's most popular pattern themes of blue florals on white porcelain, with scalloped, gold trimmed edges.
The partial set includes (2) 9 inches diameter dinner plates, (2) 6-3/4 inches diameter salad or bread & butter plates, (1) dainty cup measuring 3-3/8 inches wide by 2-3/8 inches tall, and (2) 5-3/8 inches diameter saucers.
Mark on back of plates reads, "Allerton's England "Arran" with a crown logo.
All pieces are in excellent condition and are free of chips and cracks; there is some edge wear to gold rim on several pieces as shown in photos.
