This double handle, crystal clear glass, oval shaped open sugar bowl is a fine example of Hocking Glass Waterford, Waffle pattern, made between 1938-1944. According to Gene Florence's book, "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass", Fifteenth Edition, page 239, this piece was available with or without a domed lid; this one has no lid.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, and shows no wear. Measures 2-3/4 inches tall; oval-shaped opening measures 3-1/2 inches by 4 inches, and is 6-1/8 inches wide from handle to handle. A perfect companion for your matching pieces and a beautiful piece of Depression Glass!
