This vintage full color postcard is titled, "125 Municipal Auditorium and Convention Hall, Philadelphia, PA", and is postmarked 1948. Also numbered "6A-H422" in the front lower left corner of scene. In excellent condition with no surface wear and one corner scuffed; nice coloring on the scenic view.

Divided back reads, "Municipal Auditorium, built in 1931 at a cost of $5,300,000 has been pronounced the finest building of its kind in the U.S. The building is of marble, limestone, concrete, and steel and covers an area of 408 ft. by 236 ft. with a seating capacity of 14,000 in the main Auditorium. It also has 23 smaller rooms capable of seating 50 10 1800. It was the scene of the Democratic National Convention in 1936 and Republican National Convention in 1940."
