Nice old tilting shaving or vanity mirror made of Oak wood mounted on a narrow base with a suspended mirror held up by two slender supports that have faint details of a pressed design at the top of each. These supports allow the mirror to be tilted back and forth. Mirror is set in matching wood frame that has a narrow rope pressed design on the molding closest to the mirror's surface and a slightly scalloped outer edge. The ends of each support is a peg that fit into holes in the top surface of the base, making them removable (see 8th photo) from the base . I imagine it was made this way for ease in storing the mirror or perhaps to make it easy to pack for traveling.
The wood is somewhat dry, perhaps from refinishing - backs of each support has traces of greenish gray paint, possibly its original finish? Mirror and frame is in great vintage condition; has one small nick on the top corner of the frame that doesn't detract from the mirror's overall appearance. Bottom of base is covered in green felt to protect your table's surface. Mirror is most likely a replacement; it's in new condition and is held in the frame by small nails on its backside.
Measurements: 11-inches tall overall; 9-1/4 inches wide from one support to the other; Mirror frame measures 8 by 10 inches; Base is 2-1/4 inches wide and 11-1/4 inches long.
