From the very late 1800's, this Victorian Era antique photograph features a young girl in her high top, button up shoes and a huge bow in her hair. The young lady stands leaning against an interesting heavily carved chair.
This photo came with a group of old photographs. Many of the photos in the group had names and dates printed on the back offering the ability to put them on somewhat of a time line. (Most have sold). Most of the pictures featured a young girl named Catherine and / or her brother Hugh from very early childhood to adulthood. This photograph features a young girl who was probably Catherine's older sister though none of the photos offered her name.
This photograph was printed on a larger stock photograph paper; 9 3/8" x 6 3/8". Over the years, the paper itself has torn on the edges but the actual photograph remains in great condition. The torn edges could easily be trimmed away for display if desired.
