Vogue Doll's discontinued their popular hard plastic Jill Doll in 1961 but in 1962 they came out with their 10 1/2" "All New Jill" with a vinyl body, rooted hair in an angel bob, sleep eyes, and pink lips. This is the 1962 Jill and she is as lovely as new!
This Jill was numbered #6031. She is in her tagged original chemise that she was sold in. Her brunette bouffant hairdo is excellent. In 1962 this hairdo was infamous because of Jackie Kennedy (Onassis). The brunette Jill doll was not marketed as a First Lady look alike of that time but she certainly offered similarities. The Vogue name is on the back of her head.
Along with Jill in her original chemise, she comes with her pink Pill Box Hat and matching wool felt flair coat. Her Coat & Hat #60352 comes with its original box. The box has kept the Coat and Hat as new. The box itself has very light wear.
Jill is wearing an untagged dress that coordinates nicely and is the appropriate length to be displayed with her awesome coat and hat. She also comes with a coordinating white pearlized beaded choker necklace and a pair of pale blue nylons (possibly #3500). The hosiery is in Excellent Condition and have the seam up the back.
Jill's black heels and purse perfectly accent her outfit.
*A doll stand is shown in three of the photos but is not included, nor needed, as Jill stands on her own quite well.
