This beautiful Jill walks, sits, and stands. The bent knee walker doll still has knees that bend. When her legs are moved in a walking motion her head moves. She will stand on her own when situated just right but does best with a display stand.
From the late 1950's this teenage fashion doll by Vogue is 10 1/2" tall. She has beautiful deep blue sleep eyes that open and close with assistance. Her "skin" color is excellent with lightly blushed cheeks and her blonde hair still has an original barrette on either side.. She is marked Jill / Vogue Dolls INC. / Made in U.S.A. / ©1957. .
Jill loves to dance and is looking forward to wearing her pink floral printed organdy and cotton gown. The pretty strapless gown has small flocked rose buds and is perfect for the prom! Jill wore it when she modeled for a Vogue brochure (seen on page 216 of the Vogue Dolls Collector's Encyclopedia). The dress is still in Excellent Condition. and she has a pretty pair of pink undies and pink heels that coordinate with her dress.
Jill started dance lessons when she was younger and is now quite talented in ballet. Her ballerina outfit is also in Excellent Condition. The pink satin bodice has a black lace overlay and a short puffy black tulle skirt. The left hip of the ballet outfit has a smattering of pink and white flowers. The ballerina outfit; #3314, is so cute on Jill. It appears as new!
Both of Jill's outfits have their Vogue tags intact.Jill is wearing her original "pearl" heart earrings and a newer pearl choker necklace.
