STICKEM UP! or GIDDYUP!
This Cowboy and Cowgirl are very early 1950's Ginny strung transitional dolls and can be posed, and hold their pose, in a number of ways. Each 8" doll carries the Vogue Doll mark on their back and they are wearing the 1953 Cowboy & Cowgirl Twin Series outfits. Both dolls have very nice facial coloring with feverish blushed cheeks and red lips. Both also have painted eyelashes and brows that have retained their brown color. Both dolls hold their poses very well. The sleep eyes of both dolls prefer to stay open.
Both dolls have original 1950's Chartreuse felt hats with their elastic intact. Both the Cowboy and his sister wear their felt, screen printed, chartreuse green vests. Their pistols dangles from their waist but will reach their hands if they need them!
The Cowboy is wearing the dark green felt jodhpurs with silk screened horses in a lighter green. His wrist cuffs are pinned to his waist and though not in very good condition they are present. Besides the gold cuffs, the rest of his Cowboy outfit is clean, crisp, and Excellent!. His red shoes bear Ginny's name. The Cowboy has a short dutch hair cut that is just so cute! He does have "hat hair"--he appears to have been wearing a hat for a number of years-- but the hairstyle is still quite becoming. Something light red faded on his lower abdomen and back but the rest of his skin tone is Excellent.
The Cowgirl is very lovely with beautiful blond braids. Her felt Cowgirl dress and vest are also crisp, clean, and in Excellent Condition. Her gold belt is worn but present. Her boots are the perfect addition to her look. Her skin tone is Excellent all over.
These dolls are living in a smoke free environment with their Vogue brothers and sisters. You may wish to see other Ginny, Ginnette, Jeff and Jimmy dolls also in this shop!
