Here is Vogue's handsome teenage boy doll in his "Car Coat" and Tweed Cap (# 6361)!
This Jeff is quite handsome. His sparkling eyes open and close, he has healthy rosy cheeks, and his sculpted brown hair is in very good condition. He has some light blue fading spots on the right side of his torso (photo #14)--not around the waist as is often found. He carries the Vogue name on the back of his head and also on his lower back. This Jeff is in great condition and he brings multiple pieces of clean, excellent clothing with him.
Vogue produced this teenage boy doll in 1958 to 1960 as Ginnette, Jill, and Ginny's Big Brother and Jan's Boyfriend. The 11" all vinyl Jeff came with limited outfits. Though his athletic wardrobe is usually the hardest to find, certainly next to those would have to be this "Car Coat" and Tweed Cap.
This tagged all weather coat is in Excellent Condition! The beige or khaki color nylon coat snaps at the collar and has two toggle button closures with button holes. The coat is lined with a navy and green Scotch plaid satin like fabric. His coat came with this Ivy League Tweed Cap that gives Jeff such sophistication. The coat and hat originated together as outfit #6361.
His coat and hat are shown in the Vogue Doll's Encyclopedia (Izen and Stover) with his jeans (dungarees) and black jersey shirt (outfit #6132) that he wears here also. His Jeans are in Excellent Condition. His black jersey shirt snaps at the neck in the back. The shirt is without rips or tears but seems to have been worn a bit. This outfit also came (and still comes) with a black belt that is not in the pictures. This Jeff likes the freedom of untucked shirts and therefore we forgot to include his belt in this photo op.
As much as he likes his jeans, sometimes Jeff likes to dress a little nicer in his tan Chinos (Khakis) and Striped shirt. This out fit #6130 is also in excellent condition. His original brown loafers go with all of his clothing and are in Minty Condition. Much of the time, Jeff prefers to wear his loafers without socks but he does have his original brown socks though they are a bit baggy and stretched.
Jeff dolls were originally sold with a pair of blue or yellow boxer shorts. He comes wearing his yellow and white striped boxers that continue to fit him nicely!
Jeff is odor free and lives with other members of the Vogue Doll Family in a smoke free environment.
