A soft and cuddly bunting for Ginnette!
Pictured in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls (page 194), this Ginnette Doll Baby Bunting & Bonnet are referenced as Dynel. Dynel is a trade name for a type of synthetic material that had just been introduced in 1951. The fire resistant, synthetic, acrylic material is considered long lasting. The bunting is as soft as fur. It is lined with a pink satiny fabric.
The bunting sack was made for Vogue's Ginnette Baby Doll and is suitable for 8" baby dolls. It was available and numbered # 7763 in 1957. The popular bunting was introduced again in 1958 as No. 2363. It is 8" long and 5" wide with a hook and eye closure. The bunting is still bright white. No rips, tears, or stains are found.
The Ginnette Doll featured in these photos is not included with the bunting but at the time of this listing there are Ginnette dolls for sale in this shop.
