This collection of four embossed Victorian Calling Cards each present with dark pink roses and the outstretched hand popular from that era. Two of the calling cards measure 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" and each features a romantic scene of a man and woman. Each of these cards have a greeting; on a banner. One message states: "Let not your silence break the chain that bids past joys revive again." The second message in this pair; "Believe my love is sincere true love watches over thee." The second pair of calling cards feature a winter theme. One of these has a star shape with a winter scene and measures 3 1/2" x 1 5/8" and the other, the largest one, features what looks like a winter greeting card held by a hand and measures 3 7/8" x 2 1/4". All four of these lift to reveal printed names. Only one (the largest) appears to have come from a scrap book with glue residue noted on its back. All are in Very Good Condition to Excellent Condition.
