1950's Taylor Smith Taylor Pink Rhythm Rose & Filigree Saucers
This centered pink rose is some times known as "Rhythm Rose," "Norwegian Rose," or simply "Shadowed Pink Rose". This pink rose design crosses over several Mid Century Potteries. Besides Taylor Smith Taylor, Harker, Homer Laughlin, W.S. George, and American Limoges there were others who also produced dinnerware with this design.
These four saucer plates carry the same pattern of the gold floral filigree as a marked platter by Taylor Smith Taylor also in this shop. So, even though the saucers are unmarked, I have no doubt that they were made by Taylor Smith.
The 5 7/8" saucers have a decorative scalloped edge. These are without nicks, chips, or breaks. The centered pink roses remain in Excellent condition. Light wear to the gold filigree.
The saucers display particularly nice with a cottage or shabby chic decor.
You may wish to see the matching platter also in this shop.
