This is the smallest mixing bowl in the set of four nesting bowls by Pyrex in the 1970's Woodland series. The Woodland design was produced in a dark chocolate brown like this bowl and a contrasting lighter "milk chocolate" or tan. The oven and microwave safe bowl carries the Pyrex name in raised letters on the bottom. The identification number 401, instructions for use, and Corning NY USA also appear on the bottom. The bowl is the 1 1/2 pint size, measures 5 7/8" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall. In Good Condition without chips, nicks, or breaks, the glossy fired on color and pattern of leaves and flowers remains generally well intact. There is wear noted to the paint near the rim of the bowl under the magnification of the camera and lighting (barely noticeable with the naked eye). The milk white interior also remains glossy with the fine utensil marks only.
*You may wish to see another Woodland bowl (No. 402) also in this shop.
