This Poppy & Rose design was introduced by Homer Laughlin in the 1930's and continued in production through the mid-1950's. This pattern is perhaps one of the most popular Homer Laughlin designs beyond their Fiesta and most often found on the Kwaker shape.
The price shown is for FOUR SAUCERS in Very Good Condition. The bright floral pattern remains sharp. Minimal crazing and no chips or nicks noted. The cups and saucers with the Poppy & Rose design were made in multiple shapes. These saucers have an embossed and scalloped edge. One saucer has no mark but the other three carry a date of 1955 within the back stamp code.
The design of Orange Poppies, Yellow Roses, and Black Leaves by Homer Laughlin is informally known as "Poppy & Rose" by most collectors, "Olivia" by others, and tagged as "Ivora" by some.
