This pair of vintage bangles can be worn together or separately. The plain red bracelet has a rounded outside surface. The inside diameter is 2 5/8" and the bracelet is 1/2 " wide. A very nice accent with red, white, and blue Patriotic Jewelry, Christmas Jewelry, or anytime you would like to add a dash of red cheerfulness to your arm.
The second red bracelet is also plastic and is an octagon shape. It is 7/16" wide and this bracelet opening is also 2 5/8" in diameter. This bracelet has a decorative design on each of its eight sides. A heart design in yellow with a tiny dot of blue on either side decorates alternating panels. The other alternate panels portray a simple pink bird. The designs on this bracelet appear to represent two common Pennsylvania Dutch designs. If so, the bird would be a "distlefink" which is a stylized gold finch often found on Pennsylvania Dutch folk art. The German settlers in Pennsylvania used this bird to symbolize happiness and good luck while of course the heart represents love. The bracelet with its stylized designs represents; Love, Luck, and Happiness.
Both bracelets are in great condition!
