Samson Brothers was a postcard printer and publisher from the early 1900's. Many of their postcards were artist drawn and were printed in Germany. On the back, this postcard carries the Samson Brothers mark; S B in a circle, and "Printed in Germany." The two layer card utilizes a silky, ivory colored background on the front that is possibly fabric. The images (the bird, nest, and holly leaves) are puffy and embellished with glitter. The greeting "A Happy Xmas" is printed in gold also on the front. The postcard is in Very Good Uncirculated Condition. The ivory colored card shows age tanning but no other faults can be found. The card is addressed simply to: "Theodore from Santa Claus."
