A gilded, ivory colored, plastic frame shows a mid-century glossy Postcard. This listing includes the mid-century frame as shown and four Kitten / Cat Postcards also mid-century. With four postcards to choose from, you can interchange the one in your frame as often as you wish.
The plastic frame was made to insert a postcard in a landscape or portrait orientation. The frame has slots to insert the corners to hold a card in place without damage to the card. The frame is in Excellent Condition. The inside portion that displays the card is the standard size of a postcard 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The frame is 3/4" deep, almost like a shadowbox. The outside dimensions are 4 1/8" x 6 5/8". (Another matching frame is also listed in this shop if you are only interested in the frame itself or if you wish to add another frame to this purchase)
Three of the four 1960's postcards are unused. Each of the color photo postcards feature the innocence of kittens and each has a glossy finish. Each of the postcards show edge wear. Two are marked Plastichrome, one is marked Lusterchrome, and the other only carries a publisher's mark of a 'K" within a diamond.
