This antique postcard features a shiny gold harp. This Golden Harp has a carved woman on the pillar similar to those often seen in artwork prior to 1922. The woman depicted on this small harp or Clàrsach has large angel wings. She wears no covering and does not have her arms covering her breasts as often seen. The cameo insert on the card features a mountain stream and small water fall. The embossed card also features clay pipes, an Irish Black Thorn Walking Stick, and shamrocks. The card offers the "Erin Go Bragh" greeting written in gold.
The scanner does not pick up the shiny gold that makes the postcard really "pop". The card has bumped corners but is in Very Good Condition. It is postmarked and dated 1910. The publisher's logo of the Diamond Shape with an "S" inside is not familiar.
