In Excellent Condition and uncirculated, this postcard carries the trademark for the Publisher Otto Schloss of Berlin, Germany. The company was in business from the 1890’s to 1920. The postcard was never used.

The scene portrays two young boys in German dress who are about to have a very happy New Year...at least until they are caught. The mischievous boys each have a beer mug and have tapped into a barrel of beer. One young man holds his mug up as if to say "Cheers" while the other smiling boy kneels before the spigot filling his mug. The heavily embossed card has a slight glossy satin finish. The details of the scene are terrific. Happy New Year is the message displayed on the Keg and a garland of pink flowers add to the party atmosphere.
