This painted glass perfume bottle held a 1940's perfume by Charles of the Ritz known as Moss Rose. "Charles of the Ritz" is embossed on the bottom. The decorative bottle has a scattering of pink rose buds and on the front; two wreaths of roses. Inside the upper wreath are the words; "Charles Ritz a new distributor" and within the larger lower wreath it states "Cologne 4 fluid oz." The top to the bottle is chipped and there is a remnant of darkened perfume inside at the bottom. The top originally had a cork tip that fit inside the bottle. The cork is no longer there so the top only sits on the 7 3/4" tall bottle. Very little wear to the paint. In good, used vintage condition.
