This classic style Trench Coat from the early 1970's is in Excellent Condition. The size 10 regular is "true to size." These coats were made to last and indeed it has. The sewn in satin tag on the upper back identifies the origin from; "London Fog Maincoats" "Weatherwear of Distinction" "Londontown Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland."
This particular coat was Made in the USA in Baltimore, Maryland and was sold at Garfinckel's in Washington, DC. Though this type of coat was not (is not) simply referred to as a rain coat they were certainly made to repel water and fulfill the purpose. The cleaning instructions and the Garfinckel's label are each sewn into the inner flap. The coat is Machine Washable or Dry Clean. This color is Camel Brown though some might refer to it as Khaki or Tan. The double breasted coat features:
Large Bronze Colored Buttons (an extra button is found sewn in on the inside)
Front button closure at throat
Long sleeves with Metal Ring Cinching Buckle Cuffs
Removable belt with Metal Ring Cinching Buckle
Front Welt pockets
Polyester / Cotton Blend Sewn in Lining
Dry clean or machine wash cold, tumble dry low or drip dry.

Initially the coat may have had an additional button in lining as there are clear buttons inside of the coat strategically placed. The external bronze colored buttons appear to be metal but may be a type of plastic. No stains tears or issues found.
