This mid-century serving tray is a nice size. It measures 17 7/8" ---just a tiny bit under 18" long-- and 13" wide. A complete Kitchen set was made in this pattern of cherries and cherry blossom's; a canister set, sifter, match holder, bread box, trash can and probably even more. These were the perfect accessories for the red and white kitchen but not very easy to find now. This large vintage enamel tray with its bright red trim and white background can be perfectly partnered with other mid-century white and red enamelware for the popular Country Farmhouse kitchen decor or the Retro Red & White kitchen theme.
A bunch of yummy red cherries, green leaves and white cherry blossoms make up the design on a bright white background. The raised sides of the tray are a bright red to match the cherry design.
No bends to the tray. The photos show a lot of light reflection that appears as white spots in the photos that are not actually on the tray. One end of the tray has quite a bit of loss of the red enamel paint, as can be seen in the photos, but there is no rust found at all. Otherwise there are only a few other smaller dings to the enamel here and there. The tray is in overall very good pre-enjoyed condition with the design fully intact.
An original price stamp of 29 cents remains on the solid red back of the tray.
