Nothing unusual about this set of ceramic mid-century Salt and Pepper Shakers. Decorated with sheaves of wheat and with cork bottoms the shakers come with a matching container for dry mustard that adds a touch of quaintness to the set.
Each container has a letter to indicate it's use "S" for Salt, "P" for Pepper, and "M" for Mustard...when you or your loved one are feeling poorly perhaps you'd like to arrange them as in photo number two; "P.M.S." and leave them on the table as a warning... LOL.
A "Japan" label is found on each of the shakers. The Pepper has a chip in the unglazed portion of a bottom back corner and the corks are dry and probably would need to be replaced for use. Each container is 2" wide (side to side) , 2 5/8" tall, and 1 1/4" front to back.
