From Japan, this lot of vintage 1930's / 1940's porcelain bowls and saucers are thin and delicate. Each piece was hand painted and then trimmed in a burnt orange, or reddish brown. The Oriental scenes include women in Kimonos with parasol umbrellas, pagodas, Japanese Lanterns, and garden scenes. The vintage Geisha Girl Porcelain ware has the typical paint skips and smudges. There are several different scenes among the 3 bowls and 3 saucers. Two of the little bowls have three legs while the third bowl has a solid footed base. The underside of the rim of the "leg free bowl" has a small chip. The other 5 pieces appear to be nick, chip, and crack free. One saucer carries a Nippon mark and one bowl another Made in Japan logo.
The little saucers are approximately 4 1/4" across and the bowls 3" across. All six pieces are included in the price.
