Ready for tea?...or coffee if you prefer?
From Japan, these vintage 1930's / 1940's porcelain cups and saucers are thin and delicate. Each piece was hand painted and then trimmed in a burnt orange, or reddish brown. The Oriental scenes include women in Kimonos with parasol umbrellas, pagodas, Japanese Lanterns, and garden scenes. The vintage Geisha Girl Porcelain ware has the typical paint skips and smudges. There are several different scenes among the 6 cups and saucers. Each saucer carries a Made in Japan or other Japan mark. This thin Asian porcelain is most often nicked or chipped when found but all 12 of these are in Excellent Condition. All of these pieces appear to be free of "flea bites," nicks, chips, and are crack free.
The price is for the set of six.
