These 7 1/2" bowls are 2 1/2" deep with gently scalloped edges and sloped sides. Most likely from the 80's or 90's, these have a high gloss finish that is quite reflective and difficult to photograph. The main background color is a rich cobalt blue. The design utilizes a contrasting grayish green but the off centered large flower in pink steals the show. Each bowl carries the blue and gold foil label for Empress by Haruta, Japan.
Both bowls are large enough for serving. They appear to have never been used but displayed only. Both are in Excellent Condition without a single apology needed.
The price is for both but if you wish to purchase only one just email the sop owner.
