This vintage mid-century pitcher by Jeanette Glass has the scalloped footed base. This is the largest pitcher in this pattern measuring 8 1/2" tall and holding 54 ounces. The "thumbprint" impressions are graduated in size; the larger impressions are at the top where each of the pieces are wider. As the pitcher tapers down and narrows at the base, the thumb prints grow smaller too. The scalloped base resembles flower petals.
The pitcher is in beautifully clear condition without scuffs or scratches. No nicks, chips, or cracks are found.
Tumblers in this pattern are listed separately but shown in some of the photos here. The set of four tumblers has a slightly yellowish cast and appear to be older than the pitcher but are still in the same pattern.
