The impish grin, cute pointy nose, and extraordinary captivating eyes of this Large Pixie Elf just has to bring a smile to your face...I fall in love with everyone of these I find! Each has its own personality.
Dressed in a green felt suit with red and white trim, this Christmas Elf plays Jingle Bells. He has a wind up key on his back for an internal music box. When the music plays his head is animated and slowly turns with the music. After having a few of these elves over the years I know how difficult it is to find one whose music box works this well.
Originally hand crafted in Japan in the 1960's, these were sold in the USA by Berman & Anderson as "A Santa Creation". About the size of a 10" doll, he sits cross legged with his hands out. He is 8 1/2" tall while seated-- measuring from his bottom to the top of his head. His limbs are made with wire inside and can be forced into other positions but these were not made to be "knee huggers" and trying to stretch out his legs to bend them into different positions is not recommended. His green felt suit is faded and his white collar is not as white as it used to be but overall he is still in great condition.
He is shown here with another elf (listed separately) for perspective of size only.
