1939 Homer Laughlin Moss Rose Individual or Demitasse Coffee / Tea Pot (#1)
This individual sized or miniature teapot by Homer Laughlin was made in their Swing shape and is in Excellent Condition. The Swing shape is easily recognized by its rounded shape and circular handles. Homer Laughlin's Moss Rose on their Swing shape is the same as the Pink Organdy with the addition of the beautiful blooming Pink Rose and on some pieces a rose bud also. This is one of two Moss Rose Demitasse Coffee Pots in this shop. Both carry a date of 1939. Both are shown in the next to the last photo. The sale price is temporary.
The cream colored background is trimmed with a pastel pink. The circular "modern" handles are in a complimenting pastel green. Both sides of this pot has the larger blooming rose and the lid carries the rose buds. This coffee / tea pot is without chips, cracks, stains or crazing. It is in Excellent Condition and measures 5 3/4" tall including the lid. (This pot is the same size as the one that was offered in a little girl's tea set by Laughlin.)
You may wish to see other pieces in this shop within this Moss Rose pattern including another one of these Demitasse Coffee Pots listed separately. If you wish to build a breakfast set like or similar to the one shown in the last photo, a discount will be offered on the individual pieces. Please also note that the Moss Rose can successfully be intermingled with the Pink Organdy if desired. Multiple item purchases will be packaged securely together to save on shipping.
The Homer Laughlin Swing name is imprinted on the base and the numbered code reveals a manufacture date of 1939.
