This popular Homer Laughlin Pink Rose Pattern is usually referred to as Moss Rose though sometimes found under Calirose or Calarose.
This Creamer is in Homer Laughlin's Eggshell 1940's Swing shape. In Excellent Condition there are no chips, cracks, or crazing. On one side of the creamer is a centered blooming pink rose with a rosebud on the other side. A pastel pink trim is at the upper edge. The creamer has a circular handle unique to Laughlin's Swing.
The Swing Shape is in Homer Laughlin's Eggshell line. Laughlin's Eggshell dishes were created as thinner, more elegant dinnerware (more like china) than their previous pottery. The Swing shape itself is known for its rounded edges and for circular handles on the handled pieces. This pattern is like the Pink Organdy pattern, also in Laughlin's Swing shape, with the addition of the pretty pink rose.
The last photo shows this creamer with a miniature demitasse size (also available in this shop) just for visual perspective of size. The creamer is approximately 6" wide from the outer edge of the handle across to the outer edge of the pouring lip and 3" tall.
