These Homer Laughlin 9 1/4" plates were made in the Swing shape. The Swing shape is easily recognized by its rounded shape. Pink Organdy has a cream colored background with a pastel pink trim. The Pink Organdy pattern is the same as the Moss Rose pattern (also in the Swing shape)--just minus the rose. The patterns can successfully be intermingled. (See the next to the last photo that shows one of these plates with a Moss Rose Egg Cup and Covered Muffin. These plates are a perfect way to create a service for two with a combination of Moss Rose and Pink Organdy in this shop.
Both plates are without chips or nicks. Only very occasional and minor utensil marks can be found. Their pink trim is intact and the plates remain glossy. No crazing noted. The Homer Laughlin (HLC) logo, the Swing name, and "Organdy Pastels" is imprinted on the base. The numbered code reveals the manufacture date of 1938 on each plate.
This listing and price is for both plates--a SET OF TWO.
