This centered pink rose design by Homer Laughlin known as Rhythm Rose is most often found on a solid white background. Laughlin also utilized the design on this Nautilus shape with the dark "Hunter" green wide trim. The design is identical to one produced by Taylor Smith Taylor. The TST dishes can be used in conjunction with the Homer Laughlin and unless one looks at the maker's mark on the bottom no one would know the difference.
This plate is without chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. Light utensil marks can be found when holding the plate at an angle under the light. The rose design and the green trim remain in Excellent condition. The plate is 7 1/4" across and carries the HLC (Homer Laughlin China) mark along with "Nautilus" which indicates the shape. The plate bears the date of 1954 within the code under their mark.
