This popular Homer Laughlin Pink Rose Pattern is usually referred to as Moss Rose though sometimes found under Calirose or Calarose.
This listing is for ONE 6 5/8" Cereal Bowl in Homer Laughlin's Eggshell 1940's Swing shape. Three bowls are available and if 3 are purchased, shipping will be combined. All three of these matching bowls carry the Homer Laughlin mark. Two have the later 1944 mark while one is marked 1938. The Swing shape was manufactured from 1938 until 1948.
This size bowl is not easy to find. Each of these are in Excellent Condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The centered blooming pink rose with rosebud is complemented by the pastel pink trim at their edge. This pattern is like the Pink Organdy pattern, also in Laughlin's Swing shape, with the addition of the pretty pink rose in the center.
The Swing Shape is in Homer Laughlin's Eggshell line. Laughlin's Eggshell dishes were created as thinner, more elegant dinnerware (more like china) than their previous pottery. The Swing shape itself is known for its rounded edges and for circular handles on the handled pieces.
Other items in Moss Rose (and also in Pink Organdy) are available in this shop. Please search Laughlin Moss Rose in this shop to see other matching items. The last photo is included so that you may preview some of the other available items (at the time of this listing). One of these bowls is shown in that photo.
This price is for one bowl. There is also a separate listing for a set of four cereal bowls if you prefer.
