Perfect color for Fall & Winter.
This Creamer and Sugar set is unmarked though the actual maker is well known to be Laughlin and the shape is Granada. Homer Laughlin sold their Granada shaped pottery (like this Creamer & Sugar) to other potteries such as Coventry, Sheffield, Jepcor and others. This Creamer & Sugar are the definite perfect match to Coventry's Castilian and may very well go with other Granada shaped patterns. Please be aware that the subtle difference in shades of gold between some of the different designs on the Granada shape cannot always be detected in photos. You will find other Coventry Castilian items that are a definite match within this shop.
Both the Creamer and Sugar are in Excellent Condition. No cracks, chips, nicks or crazing found. The price is for the set.
By Coventry in Laughlin's Granada shape these are a perfect match to the Granada Castilian Cup & Saucer sets, the Coffee Pot, and Tea Pot also currently listed in this shop.
*A word of learned advice and history: Homer Laughlin sold their Granada shape to other potteries who then placed their own design on this shape. I have learned that all Harvest Gold Granada does not match or even coordinate that well because of different shades within the range of Harvest Gold. For example, even though Laughlin's Golden Harvest and Coventry's Castilian are both on the Granada shape and very very similar in color--they do not necessarily intermingle well together. One thing to remember when buying on line is that Homer Laughlin's Granada Golden Harvest is speckled and the Granada Castilian by Coventry, like the this Creamer & Sugar, is not. I do have both of these Granada Patterns within my shop and will try to make clear which ones coordinate together. Happy Happy Shopping!
This Mid Century Harvest Gold color is almost the shade of butterscotch. The last photo shows the Cups & Saucers with other matching pieces in this shop (listed separately).
