This vintage covered sugar is in Homer Laughlin's Eggshell Nautilus shape. The pretty floral pattern is usually referred to as Dubarry (or sometimes referred to as Rose Mary). The design includes little bouquets of pink and yellow roses with blue and pink forget-me-nots. A scrolling cornucopia like image connects the bouquets.
The design is bright and the gold trim is shiny and intact. The sugar is in Excellent Condition. No Breaks. No crazing. There is a small imperfection from the manufacturer; a very small divot on the inside rim of the top that is under the glaze and smooth.
The sugar carries the HLC logo for Homer Laughlin China, and identifies the piece as being from the Eggshell Nautilus Line. A manufacture date within the number / letter code is 1941.
A few other pieces in this pattern are available in this shop at the time of this listing. Items can be safely combined to save on shipping.
