This tall slender Mid-Century Coffee Pot was made by Harmony House and sold at Sears. The mid-century ironstone pattern was named Tierra and numbered 4251.
The pieces are glossy inside and out. Many of the serving pieces -- like this coffee pot, cups, creamer, and sugar-- in the Tierra, have a solid burnt orange colored exterior with a contrasting white interior. Other pieces, like these saucers, are solid white with a design of double bands; one in the burnt orange and one in a lighter golden brown.
This set includes 4 cups and saucers, the 10" tall Coffee Pot, a Creamer, and Sugar. The slimline pot holds 1.5 quarts (or 6 cups). All of the pieces appear like new except for a tiny nick on the upper rim of the sugar. The tiny white nick is shown in the last photo -- it can be seen on the left of the top rim of the sugar base.
Great Mid-century vintage set! These pieces of ironstone are substantial and heavy which is reflected in the shipping charge. The set weighs a little over 7 pounds. Other pieces in this pattern will soon be listed.
