This unmarked vintage pottery bowl is in the 1960's to 70's favored Harvest Gold. The golden color is perhaps a little lighter, more mustard like, shade than some other dishes of the day but it certainly still fits the color scheme. The simple concentric circles give the appearance that the bowl just came from the potter's wheel.
Including the tab handles the bowl is 10 1/2" across and it is 4" deep. The bowl has an inner rim to hold the lid. Most likely considered as seconds, the cover seems to have been crafted just a tad smaller than it should have been and therefore sits a little crooked. The bowl has a few minor nicks at the rim which are not unsightly and both the bowl and its cover remain perfectly useful. A good choice to go with a Harvest Gold color scheme.
It holds 1 1/2 quarts and is rather heavy (over 3 pounds). Shipping costs will reflect the weight.
