From the 1940s & 1950s by Hazel Atlas, this ribbed creamer is in their fired on Orange. There were four different colors of these milk pitchers that were fired on over the Hazel Atlas Platonite white. These little milk "jugs" or pitchers are part of what Hazel Atlas called Gay Rainbow glassware.
Their original collection of four Primary Colors included this Reddish Orange (which some collectors label as red though I see this color as orange), a Jadeite Green, Cobalt Blue and a deep Canary Yellow. The Gay Rainbow jugs were offered as promotional items with KIX Cereal in the 1940's. The small milk pitchers are 4" tall. This one is in Excellent Condition. The paint remains nicely intact with only a few rubs which are on the bottom as shown. No chips or breaks found.
A Creamer in each of the colors is being added to this shop and listed separately. All Four are in Excellent Condition. If you do not find all four (not to be confused with two recently sold) please email me regarding availability as they may not have been listed yet. All are shown in the last photo here. If you wish to purchase all four, combined shipping can be calculated for you upon email request (please include your zip.)
