This Hazel Atlas Platonite design is truly scarce. Ovide Platonite White with Fired On Designs was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass in the early 1950's. (You may wish to see separate listings for this dinnerware also in this shop.)
In Excellent Condition, these FOUR 6" Bread & Butter or Dessert size plates are glossy and shiny with the pattern of red flowers intact. Within the Ovide dishes the 6" plate was often referred to as a sherbet plate. As is often the case with Hazel Atlas, the plates are unmarked but these are easily identifiable when looking at the set. There are no signs of use. Each dessert plate measures 6". The price is for each.
The next to the last photo shows one of these plates with a dinner plate for size comparison. If you wish to combine other items to this order, shipping will be combined for your savings.
These festive Retro Red & White dishes are a splendid and unique way to set your table over any "RED" Holiday: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Veteran's Day, July 4th...as well as any other day that red accents will bring cheer to your table!
