In the 1950's the Great American Heroes were still the Frontiersman and the Cowboys of the Wild West. Boys and girls alike knew who Davy Crockett and Annie Oakley were...well, at least the romanticized version of who they were. These heroic characters sprang to life on television and then on lunch boxes, cereal boxes, and children's dinnerware. Hazel Atlas produced "milk mugs" for kids as smaller versions of their parents' coffee cups and won their audience with the heroes of the day. The Davy Crockett glass mugs were produced in the same shape and with the same fired on colors as the Hopalong Cassidy mugs; this Green, then Red, Blue, and Black. All four colors of this mug will be available in this shop and can be purchased as a set of four (as long as they are available) or individually. Feel free to make a reasonable offer for the set. This mug (as well as the other three) is in Excellent Condition. No chips or nicks are found and the graphics remain pristine.
