Gayheart Drug Store was open in Culpepper, Va. in the late 1920's. A 1940's newspaper photo of their busy lunch and ice cream soda counter shows a thriving business. Apparently the street corner shop changed names several times after that and still stands today as a reminder of fun times in Culpepper.
These new old stock pint size cartons are a reminder of days gone by when a date may have included a movie and a trip to the drug store for an ice cream soda. In Excellent condition, the creamy white and red unused boxes are a fun addition to retro or vintage decor and a taste of American history. The price is for both boxes. They will travel packaged well put together as they are. Each container measures 4" x 3 1/8" x 2 3/8".
