Ready for more hot summer days!
This Vogue Ginnette Swim Set was made in 1956, 1957, and 1958. It appears to have been the same set each year but put out under different ID numbers each year. The numbers were: 6752, 7774, and 2590. This is a complete set and includes the red raft (float), swim ring, life belt and swimming (wading) pool as is shown. Each piece carried Ginnette's name identifying it as hers. Each of these pieces except for the swim ring still has Ginnette's name fully intact. Her name is quite worn on the ring. All of the pieces remain in Excellent Condition without discoloration, odors, rips, or tears. Also included-- a striped beach towel that was sold with Ginnette's older sisters Jan and Jill.
This 8" sleepy eyed doll is also in Excellent Condition. Her pretty blue eyes open and close as they should. Her "skin" tone and facial coloring and features are Excellent. No odors are detected. Either her Vogue Doll identification mark has worn off of her back or she never had one. The manufacturer of Ginnette for Vogue also sold the same doll themselves as unmarked. Without the full mark, I cannot guarantee that even though she is the exact image of Ginnette that she is indeed a Vogue Doll. This sweet baby doll comes with a blue and white flannelette diaper from the #6730 Diaper Pak, and an untagged yellow Waffle (or Pique) Romper, Bonnet, and Robe (or coat). The elastic waist of the Sun Suit (Romper) has loosened which actually allows room for a diaper.
