Manufactured by Tiffin Glass in the late 1960's and early 1970's, these footed tumblers were originally made to go with the Franciscan Madeira pattern of dishes but will compliment many patterns. The foot of the stemmed glasses is shaped like a flower--oh, so 70's! The amber glassware is especially lovely in the Fall & Winter Seasons! The color was known by Tiffin as Cornsilk Yellow.
The glasses hold 6 ounces to the brim--(more comfortably 5 ounces) and are 4 7/8" tall. This set of four are in Excellent Condition without breaks and the glass nice and clear.
The cost of shipping does reflect that the glassware is thick, heavy, and sturdy. Each glass is 14 ounces in weight.
The last photo shows one of these footed glasses with a larger water goblet . Four of the water goblets are also listed (separately) in this shop. Currently, at the time of this listing, one place setting of the Franciscan Madeira Dishes is also available.
