These two scalloped edged, elongated bowls are referenced as "Gondola Bowls" by their manufacturer Anchor Hocking. The bowls are in the Early American Prescut pattern which became known as "Star of David" (because of the star within the pattern) and now more commonly referred to as EAPC the acronym for Early American Prescut. The pattern was sold by Anchor Hocking beginning in the 1960's and became a popular household item because of its beauty, affordability, and the wide range of glassware made in the pattern.. With the look of more expensive glass, EAPC was priced then (and now) so that most households could own something within the pattern.
Each of these bowls are in Excellent Condition. They are identical. These are perfect for serving cranberry sauce or relish but these also make a wonderful dessert dish for a banana split, ice cream sundae, or perhaps your favorite yummmmy dessert.
The price is for both bowls. The glass is quite heavy. Shipping weight for the two bowls is 3.2 pounds. These will be packaged securely enough to add other glassware or items of your choice to save some money with combined shipping.
