This set of three Anchor Hocking 4 1/2" Berry Bowls are in their Oatmeal Pattern and are in Excellent Condition. The glass remains crystal clear without nicks or chips.
Before Anchor Hocking manufactured the Early American Prescut Glassware, there were two forerunners to the pattern. Beginning in 1941 Anchor Hocking produced two "Prescut" patterns; "Oatmeal" and "Pineapple."
The "Oatmeal" pattern was actually often found as promotional items within boxes of Crystal Wedding Oats Oatmeal and is how the design earned its name. The Oatmeal glassware is utilized with the Early American Prescut Pattern because it is the same design except without the star. (Example: the EAPC Punch Bowl Punch Cups are all in the Oatmeal pattern).
